Lauren Hulse has been practicing primarily in family law for the past 9+ years. In 2017 and 2018, she was selected as a Rising Star with Super Lawyers for her work in the practice of family law, which includes divorce and custody cases.
Lauren began her career in a fellowship position, directly assisting family law judges in Arapahoe and Douglas County. She obtained invaluable experience watching cases unfold from the perspective of the Judge, and still regularly uses this experience to guide her clients in preparation of hearings and reaching settlements. After working as a fellow, she worked at two bigger family law firms in the Colorado Springs and Denver area. In the fall of 2015, Lauren opened her own firm, the Hulse Law Firm, PC.
In the past nine years, Lauren has represented over 450+ clients in family law matters, including divorce cases with complex asset division issues, high conflict parenting issues, modifications of child support, contempt cases, restraining orders, appellate cases with family law issues, dependency and neglect cases and adoptions. Her firm offers representation in all these areas of law, can provide mediation, and also provides “unbundled” services. Unbundled services are a way to provide a client with a limited scope of representation, including review or drafting documents, advice through the process, or coaching before a hearing. Lauren prides herself on tailoring her services to meet the needs of each family, all while zealously protecting your children and your financial well-being.

Moving on after a divorce is often one of the most challenging transitions a person can go through in life. My guess is you are feeling isolated, alone or lonely. Perhaps you feel stuck, as if you will never be able to move on from the emotional tolls a divorce can take. It may feel as if your pain and sadness will never fade.
Divorce can sometimes lead to anxiety or depression, lowering of self-esteem or self-worth, or a lack of confidence. You may be struggling to support your children through the transition. The thought of re-entering the dating world can seem overwhelming and scary. Perhaps you are unsure how to re-enter the workforce following the divorce. You may even struggle to understand your own needs and identify your own sense of self at this point.
You don’t have to ignore those emotions! As a coach and a therapist, I can help you connect with a piece of yourself you may have left behind and discover who you are at a deeper level. We will work through the grief and loss you experience as part of a divorce, as well as feelings of anger, resentment or fear you may have. My goal is to create a safe environment where you can explore fears and feelings without judgment or criticism. To provide hope that you can live again, and love again, healthily and happily!
