Lauren Hulse has been practicing primarily in family law for the past 9+ years. In 2017 and 2018, she was selected as a Rising Star with Super Lawyers for her work in the practice of family law, which includes divorce and custody cases.
Lauren began her career in a fellowship position, directly assisting family law judges in Arapahoe and Douglas County. She obtained invaluable experience watching cases unfold from the perspective of the Judge, and still regularly uses this experience to guide her clients in preparation of hearings and reaching settlements. After working as a fellow, she worked at two bigger family law firms in the Colorado Springs and Denver area. In the fall of 2015, Lauren opened her own firm, the Hulse Law Firm, PC.
In the past nine years, Lauren has represented over 450+ clients in family law matters, including divorce cases with complex asset division issues, high conflict parenting issues, modifications of child support, contempt cases, restraining orders, appellate cases with family law issues, dependency and neglect cases and adoptions. Her firm offers representation in all these areas of law, can provide mediation, and also provides “unbundled” services. Unbundled services are a way to provide a client with a limited scope of representation, including review or drafting documents, advice through the process, or coaching before a hearing. Lauren prides herself on tailoring her services to meet the needs of each family, all while zealously protecting your children and your financial well-being.

Grounded in the power of Home, my team opens the door to new possibility, financial security, and long-term vision for you. Our uniquely inviting, partnership-focused approach is particularly meaningful as you explore options during times of transition.
With our expertise, we can help you:
- Analytically assess the value of your home
- Identify the repairs and upgrades that are necessary to sell your home
- Explore homes and neighborhoods before finalizing your settlement
- Leverage techniques to engage your children through the transition process
In our personal journey through life, we sometimes come to a crossroads, not entirely clear on where we stand and the way forward. Or we find ourselves trying to navigate through transitions – in relationships, in careers, with our health and other personal situations. During these times knowing our own True North – those values, beliefs and motivations that guide us - we can establish our bearings and determine our next steps, or even pursue a completely new direction.
As a professional coach, I support my clients in claiming their personal true north by first, crafting a vision for themselves and then identifying the steps by which to shape their desired future. Serving as an objective guide I lead clients through a discovery process that taps into their own creativity, strengths and resourcefulness so they consistently take forward-moving actions towards fulfillment, meaning and success.
My goal is to create an environment where you can explore your life in a safe, non-judgmental, solutions-focused way. I do this through questioning that opens up possibilities and exposes self-limiting beliefs. With these new perspectives and powerful insights, you can expect to gain clarity, increase confidence and get unstuck, generating the momentum to propel you along your path and shape your desired future.
Moving on after a divorce is often one of the most challenging transitions a person can go through in life. My guess is you are feeling isolated, alone or lonely. Perhaps you feel stuck, as if you will never be able to move on from the emotional tolls a divorce can take. It may feel as if your pain and sadness will never fade.
Divorce can sometimes lead to anxiety or depression, lowering of self-esteem or self-worth, or a lack of confidence. You may be struggling to support your children through the transition. The thought of re-entering the dating world can seem overwhelming and scary. Perhaps you are unsure how to re-enter the workforce following the divorce. You may even struggle to understand your own needs and identify your own sense of self at this point.
You don’t have to ignore those emotions! As a coach and a therapist, I can help you connect with a piece of yourself you may have left behind and discover who you are at a deeper level. We will work through the grief and loss you experience as part of a divorce, as well as feelings of anger, resentment or fear you may have. My goal is to create a safe environment where you can explore fears and feelings without judgment or criticism. To provide hope that you can live again, and love again, healthily and happily!
